Elder Services of Worcester Area, Inc. has a formal process for the awarding of service contracts that guarantee free and open competition. The formal procurement procedure is used for each service at least once in three fiscal years. As part of the procurement process the Corporation takes affirmative steps to encourage the participation of minority business enterprises and minority non-profit organizations that are certified with the Massachusetts State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance in the contracting process. The corporation affords small business concerns the maximum practical opportunity to participate in the contracting process
