Five days a week an average of 1,408 Meals on Wheels are delivered by ESWA to frail home-bound elders. These meals feed your neighbors, your family and your friends.

Over the past 3 years the Meals on Wheels program has increased its services by 15% while funding has not grown at the same rate. Our Meals on Wheels Program continues to grow; we reach out to you today because we really need your help fighting senior hunger!

Our goal is for every family and every business who receives this letter to sponsor just one week of Meals on Wheels for a struggling elder in the Worcester area. If we can achieve this goal, ESWA’s Nutrition Program will be better able to meet the ever-growing demand that is being placed on this service.

We ask that you please thoughtfully consider making a minimum gift of $37 to help us feed your elderly neighbors, family and friends. A needy elder may also be sponsored for one month through a donation of $155 or up to one year for $1,860.

Last year Elder Services’ Nutrition Program provided 350,628 Meals on Wheels to 2,364 frail home-bound elders in the Worcester Area.

We invite you to join us in fighting senior hunger; your financial contribution will make a difference in the life of a hungry elder in the Worcester area.

We are grateful for your time and thank you in advance for your consideration of this request. A dollar makes a difference.
