Caregiver Specialist

Hybrid Schedule – Hiring Bonus!

Seeking a full time/part time (37.5 hours/week) Caregiver Specialist.  The Caregiver Specialist works within the Family Caregiver Support Program. The Caregiver Specialist will carry out programming for the Massachusetts Family Caregiver Support Program as defined by the Administration on Community Living and Executive Office of Elder Affairs guidelines.  Including, providing information about resources in the community, education, and training, one to one counseling and assisting with access to respite and supplemental services.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. Two years’ experience with outreach and education services required, with elders and caregivers preferred. Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. Experience with public speaking required.  Ability to travel to various sites and work occasional evenings and weekends to attend meetings and conduct training and education. Must have moderate physical mobility. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Excellent organizational skills required.  Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others required. Registered Nurse (Home Care Program) Responsibilities:

  • In-home assessments for the State Home Care Program
  • Assessing consumers in need of personal care or home health services (non-skilled)

Seeking a full-time (37.5 hours/week) Protective Services Operations Manager. The Protective Services Operations Manager works within the Protective Services Department. The Protective Services Operations Manager supports the Protective Services Program Manager by overseeing the daily operations of the Protective Services Department. Assists the Protective Services Program Manager and the PS Quality Assurance and Training Supervisor with meeting compliance, quality, and regulatory measures.
